I am currently working on a feature film that explores how robotic pets are used to provide comfort and companionship to older adults living with dementia in community and long-term care settings. The film will include the perspectives of older adults, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and researchers from a range of fields, using the animal-like robots as a starting point and guiding thread to think about aging, companionship, and the role that technology plays in fostering social connections.

This film is currently in production with support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the British Columbia Arts Council and Creative BC.
